Solar Watch for SolarEdge 3.0

Solar Watch allows you to effortlessly monitor your SolarEdge power production directly on your Apple Watch watch face, iOS Home Screen Widget, Lock Screen Widget, and through Siri integration. You can set up Siri shortcuts to easily access information, such as asking "Hey Siri, what's the current power" and receiving instant feedback.

To access Siri Shortcuts, simply tap the app menu in the top right corner and select "Siri Shortcuts".

The app supports all watch complication types, focusing on those that utilize gauges for a comprehensive display. Throughout the day, complications showcase real-time power production and total daily energy generated, with color-coded gauges indicating the current power percentage compared to the maximum capacity. At night, the display switches to show total energy produced in the last day, with gauges functioning as a countdown timer until sunrise.

The Solar Watch app features a scrollable view presenting various statistics, including daily, monthly, and yearly total power production, environmental benefits, and estimated revenue. Additionally, current power levels and daily/monthly production are visible on iOS widgets on both the Home and Lock Screens.

Built upon the solid codebase of successful apps like Thermo Watch and Watch Cam, enjoyed by a large user base, Solar Watch offers swift performance with almost instant launch times and seamless background updates.

While the app's minimalist design may suggest simplicity, it reflects meticulous planning, design, development, and refinement processes that contribute to a seamless user experience.

The objective was to develop a product that seamlessly integrates alongside Apple Watch's native apps. Please note that SolarEdge admin console access is required to generate the API key necessary for app authentication.

Solar Watch respects user privacy by ensuring that all data interactions occur solely between your devices and SolarEdge. The app does not gather any user data or access personal information at any point, maintaining a strict separation between user activity and external entities. While Solar Watch is not directly affiliated with SolarEdge, it has been developed with their endorsement.
